#3

I dig t-storms and we got a good one last night before we left Austin for the dust bowl that is Lubbock. Even better that it came at the end of a not-so-great day and some of my best buds were there to play in it with me.

I have been asking for Yankee playoff tickets for my birthday for years and have yet to see them play. I would settle for regular season tickets, as long as Jeter was on the field it'd still be pretty sweet. But an October or November night game would be ideal. Oh and I would preferably like for this to happen while they're still playing at Yankee Stadium.

*BTW, I actually got to see Jeter play with the USA team while we were in California and it was glorious, even if they did get embarrassed by Korea. Even better than that though was when the whole USA team watched us practice. They were like 20 feet away from us. Needless to say we couldn't really function since we were all oohing and ahhing over them. Oh and I'm pretty sure I heard Derek comment on how nice my swing (and my butt) were too. He's such a gorgeous, gorgeous man.

Also, I just noticed that this is post #2. Coincidence? I think not.

1. skydiving

It's something that I've wanted to do for a long time. Whenever I am up high, I always have the most overwhelming urges to jump off whatever it is I'm on. My parents and I went to the state capitol last year, and on the third floor you can look down through the rotunda to the ground floor. Something in me wanted to jump. I am completely aware of my own mortality, and I have no desire to splatter myself on the ground, but it just seems like it'd be completely exhilarating. The best I can do is skydiving. Maybe I'll get my fix, but knowing myself, I'll just want to go bigger and better.
It's been forever since I've posted. Honestly, I haven't had the inspiration or desire to post anything in a long time, but I have kind of missed it. So in my attempt to get back into the swing of blogging regularly, I'm starting back up with a project of sorts. A series, if you will, of posts about my list of things I want to accomplish by the time I'm 30. I'm going to try to post once a day about a different thing on my list, and the items are by no means in any type of order. Right now it's around 75 things long; some I'll leave out and some will be combined. Sure, some of them are pretty far fetched, but I'll only live once and I've gotta do it up big while I can so I'm going to dream on...
